Today on What’s My Frame? I’m chatting with casting director Alexis Allen Winter. Alexis started as an assistant in the southeast on productions like One Tree Hill, with The Fincannon’s Eastbound and Down, and We’re the Millers, starring Jennifer Aniston. She made the move to Los Angeles in 2012, working with casting powerhouses like Laray Mayfield, Rich Delia, Courtney Bright, Tamara Notcutt.
Alexis is currently working on five films slated for 2021, including Die in a Gunfight starring Diego Boneta. Alexis has been a champion for diversity and equality in casting since the start; one of the most noatable examples is her work in Netflix’s critically acclaimed film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. You can also see her beautiful work in Legion, Iron Fist & Luke Cage.
